Hope everyone is enjoying the crazy pre-Spring weather: 80° days with a chance of tornadoes and giant hail. I wanted to let any engaged folk know that on March 15, I’ll be part of REVEAL’S really cool showcase at Wedding 101. More HERE. :::::::: Speaking of Wedding 101, I’ll also be showcasing Flashtastic Photo Booth on March 10 with lots of other really great wedding vendors... come on over and get photo booth pics and some cake! ::::::::: Lastly, I start teaching Photography at O’More College next month, so check out their community education offerings and sign up for something. I knew this was going to be a beautiful wedding when I went out to Hachland Hill Vineyard for Micah and Bieke’s engagement shoot. But seeing Bieke wade barefoot with her Dad through the creek during the processional, was the moment I knew that shooting a wedding like this was a gift! So good to be there with my good friends, capturing the wonder of this day.

Lauren told her fiance David (who told me) she wanted a photo shoot that was way outside the box. Pedaling down the street and brainstorming about the upcoming shoot, the opening sequence of the amazing movie Amelie popped into my head... this was it! Later that day, Lauren emailed, informing me that she wanted an Amelie inspired photo shoot. Call it forward-remembering or telepathic communication, but whatever it was, it was weird and awesome, just like this shoot.
